We have previously mentioned the foundation that we have started in Oakes' name, and we are quickly coming up to the first event for the foundation. Oakes' Aunt Shani, and Grandma Jane, and Great Aunt Naa have been planning a Crop to raise money. The details are below, or check out the event website. Jane told me today, not only is a great opportunity to scrapbook uninterrupted, and be inspired by others projects but its great "me time" to just get away. If your not into scrap booking, bring you checkbook to balance, bring a book or stack of magazine, bring your knitting project, bring your fingernail polish to apply a new coat, bring any creative project that you have been wanting to work on and hang out with Oakes' friends and family for the day!
